The Trust is keen to support training and development programmes that are complementary to conventional college and university qualifications but single out individual scholars to make their mark within the industry through investigation and periods of exposure to centres of excellence.
Three schemes are currently in operation as listed below.
Applications for these schemes must be made directly to the organisation’s address shown below and not through the Secretariat of Studley Trust
Nuffield Farming Scholarship

John Stones, NFST Director says, “All of our scholars have a life-changing opportunity to break free from their everyday experiences, to study an issue that’s of genuine interest to them and to develop personally through study and travel. They will meet some of the world’s leaders in their field and return with findings that are of benefit to their industry, their business and to themselves.”
Since its formation 60 years ago, the Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust has created over 600 opportunities at home and over a 1,000 worldwide for individuals with vision and energy for individuals looking to develop themselves and for individuals wanting to make a difference to farming, food and rural communities,”
