Professional Gardeners’ Guild

For over 30 years the PGG has been the meeting touchstone for professional gardeners employed in private gardens and estates.

A brief overview.

Studley College Trust is delighted to be able to work with the Professional Gardeners’ Guild to provide bursaries for trainees on PGG Three-Year Traineeships in exciting Garden placements on the scheme. Applications for these bursaries should be directed through the Professional Gardeners’ Guild.

The Professional Gardeners’ Guild was originally a society for Head Gardeners and Garden Managers. Over the years it has evolved to include assistant gardeners, single-handed and self-employed gardeners, who can all become full members once they have five years full-time experience. Students and others who make their living through professional horticulture are associate members.
